Not keeping promises

It is something I am very good at, like when I promise myself to be happy or at least happier.

A few days ago I was most earnestly resolved to put a halt to my compulsive beauty and care product purchasing. A vow that held until yesterday. Of course I was thrilled with the product of which you see an image on the right. Of course I have now the most desirable lips I ever had. Of course I am unable to stop touching and rubbing and massaging them. Of course I annoy(ed) my fellow shoppers undurable lengths of time with 'how sweet the sensation' and 'how did I live without'.

But not 24h later I wonder why my lips need to be this soft and well taken care off? There's never anybody around to kiss them anyway.

Ikae Crossing

One must do something, and so it happens that after reading a book, correcting English tests, preparing lunch, doing the laundry and taking a shower (in no particular order), I found myself on the way to Ikea where I timed the cross-Ikea run of two of my housemates.

Uh... and that's about all I really had to say.

Night Shop

It is always just my luck to find peace of mind and fall in love the day after. Which is the principle reason I won't leave my room today until the time is there to go to a dinner date, there is the necessity of evening shopping but what are the chances of meeting the love of your life in your local Pakistani night shop?

Dice

How heavy must a stone weigh for a carrier never to get used to being held back? A little happier I walk this earth, a little straighter, looking up somewhat more often. Though I am not yet myself, all is not dark:

I went shopping today and am now the happy owner of 1d4, 5d6, 1d8, 1d12, 2d10, 1d20 and 1d100. Over two weeks I have been asking advice on what colour, style, weight, size etc I should decide on, even questioning about special selection techniques but in the hour of choice disregarded any tips and simply selected on my gut feeling. The best way I guess.

Oops I did it again

I have been buying books. Enough to give me much pleasure and enjoyment the coming trying weeks, however by far too little to utterly ruin me. Since I promised no lists until January 4, I cannot tell you which they are and I find that very convenient as I am too lazy today to list them anyway.
I have also come into possession of four new sorts of tea, and one might scold me for extravaganza were it not that these infusions 'accidentally' slipped into the shopping cart when I was supervising the end-of-year dinner purchases.
Anyone believe I might be short on tea soon and wishes to contribute to my collection may check for the list of what I have here.
