Quote #5

I have the true feeling of myself only when I am unbearably unhappy.
Franz Kafka
Austrian (Czechoslovakian-born) author (1883 - 1924)
Why is it that it's always men who know how to say something so true, so beautifully?

Well, I can't agree to that. A wise man once said to me: negative feelings are not a good thing. They are not things that make you happy and not who you really are.

And out of personal experience: more something to hide...you have to be strong to do something constructive with those feelings. And Kafka did!
